At age 15 Nina started practicing yoga and has been fascinated by its myriad forms of expression ever since.
From 2005 to 2010 she was fortunate to have the opportunity to live in Shanghai, China. It was there that she met her first Ashtanga teacher, Margaret Chiu. Her immersion in the practice has taken Nina across China, thanks to a sponsorship with Shanghai Airlines, appearances on Nanjing TV and the invitation to teach at the Changzhou Temple. She has practiced and taught throughout the world in much of Asia including Indonesia, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal and more recently in Europe, Israel and Australia.
Nina's teaching is buoyed by her own daily Ashtanga Yoga practice, a firm belief in the Mysore tradition and a love of sharing the method that goes deeper than simply the asana.
